The pool and gym are very nice, as well as the lobby is comfy and a good place to meet up with people

There are moths in the rooms and some minor defects in the room or the furnitures. It has a wee bit negative impact to the overall impression of the stay.

Breakfast selection could've been better. Location is excellent. Room if fine as well.

Comfortable bed, staff is very friendly and the location is nice with the lively distric full of bars and restaurants accros the street.

Location for touring, spacious room, clean bathroom with large shower & great water pressure. Bar near lobby had great beverage prices & food.

The location is good nice to strolling around and so many restaurants, bar etc.

I suggest to take high floor will be better view, our room is small I think will be nice not to have working table and chair there ..Coz there’s already have two chairs and small coffee table, there’s more than enough I guess :)

A (western) restaurant that prioritizes ensuring everything is halal over addressing customer needs, and in the end, does not even understand what halal or haram truly means, constantly referring to their policy that everything must be halal, is incomprehensible to me.

Good location. The room is spacious especially for Singapore standards. Especially the pre check-in and out, super convenient and easy.

The cold and hot water was quite wonky in our room. It turned really hot suddenly and it took a long time for the water to turn cooler.

Have been at the Property several times and I always return. I missed the beautiful pool though, it was remodeled.

There is nothing except, the toilet rolls are so thin not full size, so the rolls fall of the to the floor . Please provide fill wide tolls or install a different holder.

Great location and room had a huge bed to sleep on. Breakfast was really nice too.

All are conveniently and comfortable cool.

Location was excellent for accessing different areas of the city. Concierge and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dining options were very expensive and not great. The bed was hard. Curtain runners were partially broken, making them difficult to open and close. There were no wine glasses in the room, and the fridge was very small and awkward to open and close.

The swimming pool and the gym at the ParkRoyal hotel were under maintenance and was not available for use during our full stay and we were only informed of this after checking in at the hotel and paying in full upfront for the stay. The alternative they offered was for us to use their sister hotel: Pan Pacific pool or gym and to access this we have to take a taxi for which they offered to pay the taxi cost both ways. While I appreciate the alternative it’s is not what we paid for and It was very disappointing and frustrating that we couldn’t access the pool and the gym at ParkRoyal itself which was the main reason we chose ParkRoyal. It was inconvenient for us to take a taxi to pan pacific when we want to use their pool. The whole point of booking a hotel with the pool/gym was to use it at our convenience at the same hotel. The alternative offered was very inconvenient for us and was not at all worth for the price we paid. Also the Pan Pacific hotel pool was fully crowded and was a total disappointment.The hotel must have informed us beforehand of the pool/gym maintenance before the check in and should have provided us the option to cancel the booking if we were not happy with the alternative option they provided but they did not bother.I would not visit ParkRoyal again because of this. Apart from the above I have no other complaints.

I had a wonderful stay for a few nights at this hotel in March. The location was great, just next to a bus stop and 5 mins walk from a MRT. You had the bustling arab street just across the road full of restaurants & shops. The room was spacious, the bathroom was large in size & it had the road views which was fine. The decor of the reception & the in-house restaurant was superb as well. Also loved the free drinking water from a seperate tap in the bathroom because drinking water is not free in Singapore restaurants. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend it.

Maybe if the price was cheaper, it would be great.

The location

Our stay at Park Royal was a letdown from start to finish. Upon arrival, we weren't welcomed or greeted by staff. The booking price was overcharged, and we felt ripped off.Breakfast was subpar, with food that didn't look fresh. When we asked to exchange money, the staff directed us to a machine without warning us about the high exchange rate, resulting in a $12 loss on every $100 exchange. When we brought it up, the staff member didn't apologize or show empathy.We were also denied taking pastries for breakfast due to our early flight, despite paying for the meal in our booking. The staff insisted we arrive to breakfast at 6 am, which seemed unreasonable and inconvenient for us. To make matters worse, the swimming pool and gymnasium were closed for maintenance during our stay, which was a major inconvenience given that these amenities were a key part of our booking decision. What's more, the hotel didn't even bother to inform us about this beforehand. We discovered that in a note left in our room that the hotel had relocated some of its services to a neighboring hotel, which was extremely inconvenient for us. We weren't given any prior notice about this change, or given the option to either continue with our booking or cancel. There was not any offer of compensation or discount.The only positive interaction was with a staff member named Vicki, who was friendly and helpful. There were more disappointments during our stay that i could list to show the hotel's overall poor service and lack of communication. Overall, we'd advise against staying here due to the unprofessional service, lack of consideration for guests' needs, and failure to deliver on promised amenities.

The location

I stayed at this hotel and found bed bugs in the room — my one-year-old daughter broke out in a rash (see photo). There were also stains on the bed sheet which disgusted me. On top of that, I found hair in my food during the breakfast buffet, and when I raised these issues, the staff were dismissive and rude. I’ve stayed in many hotels and never experienced anything this bad. Avoid at all costs.
